These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Client", or "Mentor") and ThesisMinds ("Company", "we", "our", "us").
By accessing, registering, or using the platform at https://thesisminds.pro, you expressly consent to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.
This agreement is issued in compliance with the Constitution of Kenya, the Data Protection Act, 2019, and other applicable laws governing digital services and contracts.
ThesisMinds operates as a research support and mentorship platform facilitating matching of Clients with vetted Mentors for research assistance including proposals, data analysis, and manuscript development.
Services are strictly for research support and guidance. ThesisMinds does not condone plagiarism, contract cheating, or academic dishonesty or any other academic irregularities.
Users agree to indemnify ThesisMinds from claims or sanctions arising from misuse of services or violation of institutional policies. ThesisMinds is not liable for any harm resulting from misuse of the platform.
Mentors undergo vetting including CV, transcripts, and certification verification. Furthermore mentor applicants may be required to do compulsory proctored tests and submit sample essay/research of a given topic.
Mentors warrant that submitted credentials are accurate and lawful. Falsification may result in immediate suspension of the application process, termination of contract and legal action.
Mentors operate as Independent Contractors and are not employees of ThesisMinds.
Clients are responsible for legality, ownership, and accuracy of uploaded research content.
Users warrant compliance with ethical review requirements (IRB/ERC) and informed consent standards for health or sensitive data.
ThesisMinds provides research support only and does not offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Clients agree to pay specified fees. Payments are processed via secure third-party gateways.
Refunds are subject to internal review and Company discretion based on project stage and deliverables.
Transaction records are retained in accordance with Kenyan tax and regulatory laws.
Research data and Client details are treated as confidential.
Industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption and secure hosting are implemented.
The Company is not liable for breaches resulting from User negligence or misuse of credentials.
To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, ThesisMinds shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including academic outcomes.
Disputes shall proceed through negotiation, mediation in Kenya, and binding arbitration under the Arbitration Act, 1995 (Kenya).
The Company is not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control.
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations including misconduct or non-payment.
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
